Is there a free trial?+
Yes — 14 days, no credit card required. Download and start immediately, no account needed. Trial exports include a watermark; the watermark is removed after purchase.
How many computers can I use LAYON on?+
One license covers 2 PCs simultaneously — for example, your studio desktop and your laptop. If you need to move to a different machine, you can deactivate one from within the app and activate on the new one.
Is this a one-time payment?+
Yes. Pay once, own it forever. No subscriptions, no hidden fees. The early access price of €49 is available for the first 100 customers only — after that the regular price is €199.
Does it work offline?+
Yes. LAYON works fully offline. The app checks your license online at launch, but continues to work for a few days without an internet connection.
Do I get free updates?+
Yes. All updates within the current major version — new tools, performance improvements and bug fixes — are included at no extra cost. Future major versions may be offered to existing customers at a discounted upgrade price.
Is client proofing really free?+
Yes. Client proofing is an experimental feature and it's free for everyone until September 30, 2027. It's always optional — you never need it to design and export your albums — and we'll let you know well in advance if this ever changes.
Is LAYON only for Windows?+
