Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Free trial

You can use LAYON free for 14 days to evaluate whether it fits your workflow. No payment is taken during the free trial, and no card details are required to start it. The trial gives you access to the product so you can make an informed decision before purchasing.

2. Cancelling during the trial

If LAYON is not right for you, simply don't purchase a license — the trial ends on its own and you are not charged. There is nothing to cancel and no payment to stop.

3. After you purchase

Because you have the opportunity to fully evaluate LAYON during the free trial, license purchases are generally non-refundable once the paid license has been delivered and activated. We believe the free trial is the best way to decide, and we encourage you to use it. This does not affect the exceptions below or your statutory rights.

4. When we will provide a refund

We will review and, where appropriate, provide a refund in the following cases:

• where a refund is required by applicable law (including mandatory EU/consumer rights);
• duplicate charges for the same license;
• unauthorized or fraudulent payments;
• a confirmed technical defect that prevents you from accessing or using LAYON and that we are unable to resolve within a reasonable time.

5. Your statutory consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits the mandatory rights you have as a consumer. EU/EEA consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for purchases made at a distance. Because a paid license is digital content supplied immediately, by completing your purchase and accessing the license you request its immediate provision and acknowledge that the 14-day right of withdrawal no longer applies once provision has begun, in line with Directive 2011/83/EU. You agree to this when you complete checkout and accept these terms. Where a mandatory right to a refund otherwise applies, we will honour it — and the 14-day free trial lets you fully evaluate LAYON before you buy.

6. How refunds are handled

Payments for LAYON are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Refunds and payment support may therefore be handled by Paddle. To request a refund or raise a payment issue, contact us through our contact page with your order email address; you may also use Paddle's buyer support for payment-related matters. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method.

7. Subscriptions

LAYON is currently sold as a one-time license, so there is no recurring charge to cancel. If a subscription option is offered in the future, you will be able to cancel at any time to prevent future renewals. Cancelling stops upcoming charges; it does not automatically refund past charges unless required by law or approved under this policy.
